Symbolism of name

  • Lennies name symbolises a lion, brave and strong

Speech

  • Lennies speech is informal and sometimes inpolite; he speaks freely, but has a speech problem so he is not easily understood. He doesn’t use words correctly which makes Lennie hard to understand, so he does not speak often.

Appearance

Lennie clothes are dirty; over-all with brass buttons. He appear-ares dirty and untidy. Lennie comes across as a big guy, but also quiet,
